his tour is ideal for a first time visitor to India, visiting some of the best-known culturally rich and historically important sights of India. Your journey starts in India's capital - Delhi, a bustling metropolis with a perfect blend of the ancient and the modern. You then travel to Agra, home of the world's most famous monument of love - the Taj Mahal. Your tour then takes you through the desert state of Rajasthan, where you visit the colorful "Pink city" of Jaipur and the "Venice of the East" Udaipur, before flying into Mumbai, the commercial capital of India and home of colorful Indian cinema. Your journey ends with touring and some last minute shopping in Mumbai before flying home.

Day-01 Arrive Delhi:

You will be met on your arrival at Delhi International airport and transferred to Hotel. No activity is scheduled today, since most of the international flights arrive in Delhi late evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Day-02 In Delhi (B):

At 0900 hours, meet your tour guide and your fellow travelers for a short briefing in the Hotel Lobby followed by a full day combined sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi visiting - The mighty Red Fort, Friday Mosque -- Jama Masjid, The silver street of Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat -- the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, The Hindu temple -- Birla Mandir, India Gate -- a 42 m high war memorial, President's House, Humayun Tomb, Qutab Minar -- a 73 m high victory tower and Bahai Temple -- shaped like a lotus flower and a proof of India's secularism. Overnight at the hotel.

Day-03 Drive Delhi - Agra (B):

Early morning depart for Agra (220 kms--4 hours) and check in at Hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Agra city visiting the world famous Taj Mahal. One of the wonders of the world -- a monument of love created by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal and perhaps the most perfect architectural monument of the world, the Red fort -- a testament to the rise and fall of the Mughal empire built by Emperor Akbar in red sand stone over 400 years ago. Overnight at the hotel.

Day-04 Drive Agra - Jaipur (B):

Early morning depart for Jaipur (250 kms--5 hours) en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted capital of Emperor Akbar approximately 35 kms outside Agra. Built in the 16th century, this city was abandoned 12 years later due to a scarcity of water. The entire city of Red sand stone (sand stone palaces and temples) is virtually intact and a site worth seeing is the 54 m high main entrance. Buland Darwaza-- the gate of victory constructed to commemorate Akbar's victory in Gujarat.

In the afternoon, drive ahead to reach Jaipur, Check in at hotel & enjoy the evening relaxing. Later you will be taken to Chowki Dhani, India's 5* Ethnic Village where you will enjoy an evening of cultural programs, puppet shows, magic shows & camel cart rides in true Rajasthani style. Return to hotel. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day-05 In Jaipur (B):

A full day sightseeing tour of Jaipur the pink city takes you to the Hawa Mahal -- The Palace of Winds, the facade of which is all pink windows and filigree screens, Jantar Mantar -- the largest and best preserved 18th century stone observatory, City Palace --still the home of the former royalty H.H Bhawani Singh Ji of Jaipur housing an extensive collection of art, carpets and old weapons.

Also visit to Amber Fort, situated 11 kms away from Jaipur; Amber was once the ancient capital of Jaipur state. The fort is a superb example of Rajput architecture, stunningly situated on a hillside & overlooking a lake, which reflects its terraces & ramparts. The climb to the fort is on gaily-bedecked Elephants. Overnight at the hotel.

Day-06 Drive Jaipur - Udaipur (B):

Transfer to the airport in time to connect flight for Udaipur.Met on arrival in Udaipur and transfer to hotel. Day at leisure by your own in Udaipur. Overnight at the hotel.

Day-07 In Udaipur (B):

After breakfast full day sightseeing tour of Udaipur "Venice of the East" takes you to City Palace-- towering over the lake, this is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan, the main part of the palace is preserved as a museum with a large & varied collection of glass, porcelain figures & miniature paintings. Located only 150 mts from the city palace is the famous Jagdish Temple -- which enshrines a black stone image of Lord Vishnu as Jagannath, Lord of the universe and Saheliyon ki Bari -- or garden of the maids of honor. A small ornamental garden with fountains, stone elephants & a delightful lotus pool. Evening boat ride at Lake Pichola, Udaipur. Overnight at the hotel.

Day-08 Fly Udaipur / Mumbai (B):

Transfer to the airport in time to connect flight for Mumbai.Met on arrival in Mumbai and transfer to Hotel. Day at leisure by your own in Mumbai. Overnight in Mumbai.

Day-09 In Mumbai:

After breakfast full day sightseeing tour of Mumbai, the bustling commercial capital of India, takes you to Gateway of India -a grand ceremonial arch through which the last British troops left India, Prince of Wales Museum -with its art, archaeology & natural history sections it is one of the best museums in the country, Hanging Gardens, Victoria Rail Terminus and drive along Marine drive. Overnight in Mumbai.

Day-10 Depart Mumbai:

Transfer to airport in time to connect flight to onward destination.
